Kapilopadesha - II - Srimad Narayaneeyam/Srimad Bhagavatham !! Lyrics & Its meanings

Jai Sriman Narayana !!

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, that the intellect attached to material bondage of three Gunas.  The intellect which does not pursue the gratification of sensual pleasure of three Gunas would attain liberation by following the paths of holy men and sincere devotion.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, narrates the twenty-five structures of Prakriti/Primordial nature such as Mahathathva, Ahankara, Pancha Thanmathras, Panchabhoothas, Anththakarana, Panchendhriyas, Karmedhriyas and Purusha/Athma, whoever realizes the characteristic of Prakriti would be released from the bondages.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, narrates that although the Prakiti has many characteristics; Purusha never gets blemished by any of these features.  Whoever venerates the supreme Lord Guruvayurappa and the real nature of the supreme Lord with perpetual devotion will get released from the clutches of Prakiti.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, describes whoever constantly worships the magnificent form of supreme Lord with flawless mind, perfect control over senses with the mind preoccupied in the marvelous form of Supreme Lord adorned with various precious gems, carrying divine weapons, seated on the celestial vehicle Garuda has the luster like the Tamala tree.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, describes whoever listens or recites the glorious myth or reciting the holy names would be rewarded with perpetual devotion, which persistently think of Supreme Lord like river Ganga streaming towards the ocean.  Eventually the worshipper would attain the highest of the pieties, liberation from the cycles of birth and death.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, Alas! Whoever acquires wealth by unfair means and protect their families, remains too submissive to the charm of their wives, soaked into the worldly matters and extremely obsessed in material well-being and drenched in the affection of their children, without the knowledge or devotion to Supreme Lord would be led to the endless miseries of the hell.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, describes that the Jivathma repeatedly enters into the mother’s womb for rebirth, though it retains the knowledge about the Supreme Lord but that too loses due to the travails of birth.  The new born has to undergo many sufferings due to various illnesses during the childhood, eventually attain the form of young adult that too immerse in the fascination of sensual pleasures.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, who incarnated as Kapila instructed the highest of the devoutness to Devahoothi, describes a righteous person, who performs homage to ancestors and fire sacrifices to the deities, would travel through the southern path after death, he will be benefited from the fruits of meritorious deeds and born again.  Whoever performs desire less action as offering to Supreme Lord will travel through the northern path and attain liberation.

Consequently, fortunate Devahoothi attained the perpetual wisdom, eulogized the glories of Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa.  She had achieved the purity of mind; eventually through the path of constant devotion she had attained liberation from the cycles of birth and death.   Later, she preceded her journey with the group of ascetics through the North Eastern path and permanently remains there for the welfare of the people.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, What do I say? Thus, you have firmly declared that the constant devotion to your lotus feet would remove all unknown fears and miseries, ultimately fulfils all the desires.  Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa/Gurupavanapuresa, I earnestly pray to eradicate my illnesses and bestow perpetual devotion to your lotus feet.
